Conor Garland, Angelo Miceli and Filip Chlapik were named today, the three stars of the week for November 3 to 9, 2014.

The first star of the week is awarded to Moncton Wildcats’ forward Conor Garland. In three games this week, he scored 3 goals, added 6 assists and maintained a +2 rating. Tuesday, against the Charlottetown Islanders, he tallied 4 points and was named the second star of the game in a 5-3 win. Against the Moncton Wildcats on Friday, he added three more points in a 4-1 win and was once again named the second star of the game. His team won again on Saturday, this time against the Halifax Mooseheads, where he had 2 assists, one of them on the tying goal at the 56th minute. He now has 30 points in 21 games which places him 8th in the league.

Victoriaville Tigres’ forward Angelo Miceli, is the second star. In three games he scored 3 goals, added 4 assists and maintained a +4 rating. Tuesday, he was named the second star of the game with one assist in a 4-2 loss to the Baie Comeau Drakkar. In a 4-0 win against the Sherbrooke Phoenix on Friday, he added another assist. Saturday, against the Val-d’Or Foreurs, he scored three goals and added two assists in a 8-5 win. He is now second in the League with 37 points, three behind the leader.

The third star is the Charlottetown Islander forward, Filip Chlapik. He tallied 7 points in four games. With his three points on Friday, he was awarded the first star of the game in a 4-1 win against the Gatineau Olympiques. Sunday, he got a goal and an assist in a 8-3 win against the Drummondville Voltigeurs.
